The Neighbors John Persons Comics Work [OFFICIAL]
My eyes widened as I saw the credits: "Art by John Persons". I had no idea my neighbor was a comic book artist.
When the graphic novel was finally published, I was amazed by the finished product. John had dedicated it to his neighbors, "the people who put up with my mess".
As we talked, I realized that John's humility and kindness were just as impressive as his art. He was working on a new project, a graphic novel that combined his love of science fiction and fantasy. the neighbors john persons comics work
As I was taking out the trash, I noticed a stack of colorful papers and sketches on the sidewalk outside his house. I picked one up, thinking it was just some kid's art, but as I flipped through the pages, I realized they were actually comic book pages. Professional-quality comic book pages.
John's expression changed from surprise to sheepishness. "Oh, yeah... I was just working on a project. I guess I left those out." My eyes widened as I saw the credits: "Art by John Persons"
As I worked alongside John, I saw the care and dedication he brought to his craft. He was a true artist, and I felt honored to have stumbled upon his secret.
It was a typical Wednesday evening when I stumbled upon my neighbor's secret life. I had always known John as the guy who lived next door, always wearing a worn-out baseball cap and a faded t-shirt. He was friendly, but I never really knew much about him beyond that. John had dedicated it to his neighbors, "the
His living room was a treasure trove of comic book art. There were sketches, storyboards, and finished pages covering every inch of wall space. I saw characters I recognized from popular comics, and others that were entirely new.
I asked if I could help, and to my surprise, he said yes. Over the next few weeks, I assisted John with research and even got to try my hand at inking some of the pages.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I knocked on his door. He answered, looking a bit surprised to see me.
I realized that sometimes, the most interesting people live right next door, and all it takes is a little curiosity to uncover their secrets.

Hi, do you start each colour above the previous start point or do you move the start positions on each colour change
Hi Vanessa, I do move my start point for each colour by a couple a stitches each time.
Why do you do this? I’m making the basket now. Love it. But I didn’t see this commet until now.
Lynn, I start at a different position to spread out the starting point which can leave a visible line if each row is started at the same point. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t done this though.
Makes sense. I will post a picture in revelry. I love the standing sc and the invisible join. I can use these in any pattern, right? The colors in this basket are helping me through a Michigan winter. Enjoy your Aussie summer☺
